Ida attended Suffolk Public Schools. As an adult, she was also employed by Suffolk Public Schools. Ida was a long time member of First Baptist Pleasant Hill. She intensely loved her family and Christ. She was known to have aluminum foil at all the family gatherings.

Ida leaves to treasure her memory her loving and devoted siblings, Pattie Silver, Edith Freeman, Walter Freeman (Deloris) and Benjamin Freeman, and sister-in-law, Eva Freeman. Also left to cherish her memory is her faithful niece, who was more like her daughter, Beverly Freeman. Close to Ida’s heart and the loves of her life she also leaves her great-nieces Travoria, Niyah and Taylor. Ida was also blessed to have an adopted family in Lavone and Daniel Green and Daniel Green II.
