Linda “Baby Mole” Brown, 58, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at her residence. She was born on Sept. 4, 1957, to the late Alphonso O. Brown Sr. and Arnnetta Peele-Brown.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Arnnetta T. Parker.

She attended Suffolk Public Schools and worked in the childcare field many years in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Linda leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Tyrone K. Brown (Lorie); six sisters, Helen L. Brown, Clara M. Faulk (David), Leona E. Russell, Diane Knight, Barbara Lewis (Frankie) and Genice Hall; five brothers, Alphonso O. Brown Jr. (Sandra), Kelvin J. Brown (Lola), Alfred L. Brown, Milton Brown and Earnest Brown; three grandchildren, Laron D. Baker, Angela Davis and Alisha Felton; great-grandchild, Jadyn N. Baker; two step-grandchildren, Tameke Blow, William Blow (Shawntese); two special friends, Lola Robinson and Betty Christ; and a host of other family.

Ms. Brown’s visitation will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Mt. Joy Food For Living Ministries Church, and she will be laid to rest at Carver Memorial Cemetery.
