Carolyn Cross Fortune, formerly of Suffolk, died Friday, May 20, 2016, at her home in Rahway, N.J.

She is survived by two daughters, Daina Fortune and Kimberly Lee (Howard); two sons, Steve Fortune (Cynthia) and Calvin Fortune (Annette); nine grandchildren; four sisters, Louise Ashburn (Cleophus), Vera Lawrence, Juanita Glover (Bernard) and Geneva Purvis.

A graveside funeral will be held at noon Friday, May 27, 2016, at Rosehill Cemetery, Linden, N.J., with Jones Funeral Home in charge.
