Tracy Ann Connelly Bender, 44, passed away June 16, 2016. Her daughter, Kristin Renee Bender, 22, passed away June 13, 2016. They were both members of Liberty Baptist Church.

Tracy was born in Queens, N.Y., the daughter of Thomas Edward Connelly and Mary Louise DeSalme Jordan. Kristin was born in Miami, Fla., the daughter of Edward A. and Tracy A. Bender. She was a graduate of Lakeland High School, attended Paul D. Camp Community College, and worked at the Tractor Supply Store in Suffolk.

They are survived by Tracy’s husband and Kristin’s father, Edward Allen Bender; Tracy’s daughter and Kristin’s sister, Breanna Dawn Bender; Tracy’s parents and Kristin’s grandparents, Thomas E. Connelly, Mary L. Jordan (Leslie); Tracy’s mother-in-law and father-in-law and Kristin’s grandparents, James E. and Jeannette L. Bender; Tracy’s sisters, Heather Lynn Connelly Russell, Amanda Lee Connelly; brother, Christopher Connelly; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service to celebrate both of their lives will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, 116 Romans Road, Suffolk, VA 23434 with the Rev. Mark Reon officiating. Burial will follow at Albert G.
