Dorothy Lee Hall, 85, of Suffolk, passed away June 29, 2016.

She was born in Putman County, W.Va. to the late Willie and Gracie Mae Pate. She is also predeceased by her brother, Carroll Pate and grandson, William Ryan Hall.

First Lady Dorothy and her husband, Bishop Hall were founders of Pentecostals of Suffolk, where she taught the ladies’ auxiliary and youth Sunday school classes.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 67 years, Bishop William Roy Hall; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Hall and Michael Humphrey; sons and daughters-in-law, William David and Karen W. Hall, William Dennis and Patricia Jean “Jeannie” Hall, and Raymond Brian Hall; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and her brother, Robert Pate.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, with Bishop Edwin Harper officiating. Entombment will be private. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
