Willie C. Taylor, 88, of South Main Street, transitioned Saturday, July 9, 2016, at his residence. He was the son of Isil Taylor and the late Beatrice P. Taylor.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Elgertrude; daughter, Carolyn (Eugene); two brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law. Willie was a friend to his community. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

A celebration of life will be held at noon, Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Bethlehem Christian Church, 312 Bute St. Pastor Emanuel Myrick Jr. will deliver the eulogy. He will be laid to rest in Loudon Park Cemetery, Baltimore, Md. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
