Vernice Brown, 87, of Ivor, transitioned Monday, July 11, 2016, at Sentara Obici Hospital. A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2016, at Gilfield Baptist Church, Ivor. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
