Annabell Vaughan Holland, 86, passed away July 20, 2016.

She was born in Suffolk, the daughter of the late August E. and Margaret Warren Vaughan. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Edward “Eddie” Holland; a grandson, Chad E. Holland; and a brother, A.E. “Gus” Vaughan Jr.

Annabell graduated from Suffolk High School in the Class of 1947. She worked as a bookkeeper at Nansemond Drug Company and retired in 1991 after 39 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Annabell is survived by her sons, Edward Stanley Holland and wife S. Monnette, and Craig Vaughan Holland; grandchildren, Monica H. Dellamar (Mike) and Warren T. Holland (Jessica); great-grandchildren, Diamond, Alexis, Emma and Tanner Holland, Ethan and Rachel Dellamar, Dylan Montgomery, and Tyler Murphy; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, with the Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
