The Suffolk Fine Arts Commission has available funds for its 2016-2017 grant program. The purpose of the grant program is to increase community access to high quality art to include, but not limited to, visual and performing arts. The program is open to any organization or individual whose project promotes this purpose in the city of Suffolk. The commission will review all grant requests and determine the number and amount of grants to be awarded.

The submission deadline is Aug. 30. Applications must be mailed or delivered to Tameka D. Williams, Suffolk Fine Arts Commission Liaison, 134 S. Sixth St., Suffolk, VA 23434, no later than 5 p.m. on Aug. 30. Faxed or emailed applications will not be accepted.
