Frances G. Shotton, 72, passed away on Aug. 21, 2016. She was born in Suffolk to the late Robert and Mabel Galvin. Frances belonged to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, was active in the local art community, owned and ran The Willows Antiques and Fine Gifts for many years, and especially loved spending time on the beaches of the Outer Banks.

Frances is survived by her husband, Douglas; her three children, Tamara Bower (James), Wynter Shotton and Rand Shotton; and her two grandsons, Hunter Bower and Taylor Bower.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 213 N. Main St., Suffolk.
