Sheila DeBorah Chamblee

Sheila DeBorah Chamblee, daughter of the late Charlie C. Stephens Jr. and Mary M. Stephens, was born Jan. 5, 1956, in Franklin. Mrs. Chamblee was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She departed this life Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Arthur Chamblee; mother, Mary Stephens; three children, Robert Stephens, Devon Stephens and Whitney Jones; two brothers, Charles Stephens and Kevin Stephens; two sisters, Brenda Tucker (Andrew), Lucy Rountree (William); six grandchildren, D’Vonte Stephens, DaMaiya Stephens-Smith, DaMia Stephens-Smith, Tyra Stephens, Julius Stephens and Marcus Stephens; three great-nephews Jaylen Irby, Justin Irby and Juliene Irby; five nephews; three nieces; one aunt, Nothunda Zulu (Vusie), of Minnesota; mother-in-law, Katie Chamblee; and a dear friend, Ella Lewis.

She also has a host of sisters- and brothers-in-law, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1351 Whitemarsh Road, Suffolk, VA 23434. The family will depart from 2024 Freeney Ave. Apt. 103 at 3:30 p.m. for the Kingdom Hall.
