In Carrollton, a new apartment complex is nearing completion.

The complex, referred to as Eagle Harbor West, will consist of 208 units. The community is the third apartment phase of the existing Eagle Harbor community. The addition will grow the community to 592 apartments.

East West Realty sold the space to The Breeden Company, according to Mark Edwards, senior vice-president and broker at the realtor. The company closed on the $2.1 million, 15.93-acre land deal in 2014.

“The apartments are coming along and should be opening in the next few months,” he said.

Construction is expected to conclude by November, according to a Breeden Company representative.

The apartments will include one-, two- and three-bedroom units. The spaces will range from 800 to 1250 square feet, according to The Breeden Company website.

Amenities include attached garages and private driveways at select homes, full-size washers and dryers in each home and wood-burning fireplaces in select units. The units are also pet-friendly, with certain breed restrictions.

Eagle Harbor offers a health club with 24-hour access, a five-hole putting green, a playground and a swimming pool among other amenities.
