UPDATE: Volovsek has returned home to his family.

Earlier: The Suffolk Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance locating a missing endangered man, Steven Michael Volovsek, age 64.

Volovsek is a white male, 6 feet, 3 inches tall, and approximately 230 pounds, who suffers from a medical condition that requires medication, according to a city press release.

Volovsek was last seen earlier Thursday and is suspected to be driving a 2003 Chevy Suburban, gold or silver in color, with Virginia tags 2321AE. He typically wears blue jeans, a hoodie or jacket, sneakers and a ball cap related to the Navy.

If anyone observes Volovsek or knows of his whereabouts, call 911 or your local police department.
