Teen indicted in attempted murder

A 16-year-old was indicted by the grand jury this week on attempted murder and other charges.
Tony Douglas Powell Jr. is also charged with robbery, malicious wounding, burglary and firearms charges. He was one of 50 defendants indicted on 166 charges.
According to court records, the incident in which Powell is charged happened about 8:30 p.m. Sept. 14 in the 800 block of West Constance Road.

- Christopher James Brown — grand larceny; grand larceny of a motor vehicle
