Joyce Boone Russell, 84, of 6212 Leafwood Road, died on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016. She is survived by four children: Charlene Lavell Christopher, of Norfolk, Reginald V. Russell Sr. (Deborah), Rosalind R. Holland (Curtis), Alfred D. Russell, all of Suffolk, seven grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Margie Raynor (Lonnie), Doris Lewis (Roosevelt), of Portsmouth; Deborah Goodman (William), of Chesapeake; one brother, Charlie Lee Boone, of Norfolk; one sister-in-law, Bertha Boone.

The celebration of life service will be Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at noon at Laurel Hill UCC Church, 8001 South Quay Road, Suffolk. The family will receive visitors in the home of Rosalind & Curtis Holland, 6214 Leafwood Road.
