Player of the Week nominees

Following are this week’s nominees for the Duke Automotive-Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:
- James Hatton, junior for King’s Fork High School basketball: Hatton had 22 points with six three-pointers in a win over Great Bridge Friday night.
- Jeremiah Lewis, sophomore for Nansemond River High School basketball: Lewis had 19 points and 12 rebounds off of the bench in the Warriors win over Hickory.
- Darren Daughtry, senior for Lakeland High School track: Daughtry placed second in the 55-meter hurdles for Lakeland with a time of 7.74 at the Gloucester Pre-Holiday Invitational at Boo Williams.
