Suffolk athletes place in meet

Below are results from the second Southeastern District meet at Boo Williams Sportsplex last Thursday.
Boys:
King’s Fork: Nasir Davis finished third in the 55-meter dash. The 4×200 team placed first. The 4×800 team placed second. Shamond Smith finished fifth in the 1,000-meter.
Lakeland: Travis Copeland finished first in the 500-meter dash. Deondre Little placed first in the 300-meter dash and fourth in the 55-meter dash. The 4×400 team placed third.
Nansemond River: Jacari Sain placed seventh in the 500-meter. Daiqwaun Faircloth finished seventh in the 55-meter dash.
Girls:
King’s Fork: Imani Urbanski placed first in the high jump. Amari Urbanski placed third in the high jump. Latoya Thomas placed third in shot put.
Lakeland: Enicia Hopes placed fourth in the triple jump and fifth in the long jump.
Nansemond River: Brene’ Donaldson finished second in the 55-meter dash. Jazmine Tilmon finished fifth in the 55-meter dash. The 4×200 meter team finished first. Olivia Ladehoff finished fourth in the 1,000 meter. Jasmine Watson finished first in the 55-meter hurdles. Skylar Parks finished third in the 55-meter hurdles.
