John Carson Barnes, 79, died Jan. 22, 2017. A funeral will be held Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Westminster Reformed Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Brett Carl officiating. Burial with military honors will be held prior to the service at noon at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Friends may join the family Wednesday night from 7 to 8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory for a time of visitation.
