King’s Fork High School’s softball team defeated Deep Creek High School 13-1 Tuesday afternoon.

Freshman Cali Hinnant struck out 13 batters and allowed only three hits. She also went 2-4 at the plate.

Dani Arzillo was 2-2 from the plate. Madison Froemel and Lauryn Maher each had homers for King’s Fork.

The two teams will turn around and play each other again Friday. This time, King’s Fork will travel to Deep Creek. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m. Both teams are a part of Conference 17.
