Ms. Harriet M. Whitehead, 86, of Suffolk, transitioned May 6, 2017, at Kindred Healthcare.  A visitation will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. A home going service will take place at noon on Saturday at Macedonia AME Church, 127 Pine St., Suffolk, VA 23434, with eulogy by the Rev. James Harris, associate minister of St. Mark.
