NSA LAX handles Christchurch

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s lacrosse team defeated Christchurch School in the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association’s Division II state tournament quarterfinals at home on Tuesday.

Eli Dowd led the way for the Saints with four goals.

The Saints had advanced to the VISAA D-II semifinals after a 10-6 victory over Christchurch.

NSA, the No. 4 seed, will now face No. 1 seed Virginia Episcopal School. Semifinals and the championship game will be held at Randolph Macon College. The semifinals will be at 1 p.m. on Friday.
