Ardys Carolyn Lynch, 91, went to be with the Lord on July 2, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Cora and Riley Farnsworth.

She is survived by her daughter, Sue Lynch, and her husband, Jay Johnson; twin sister, Merle Riel; stepchildren, nieces and nephews.

Ardys lived to sit in the sun and to play cards, especially gin rummy. She had a passion for all animals, and she was especially fond of her dogs and cats. She loved to eat, particularly strawberries and ice cream.

A visitation will be held on Sunday July 9, 2017, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the R. W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk. The family will hold a private service at a later date.
