Allie Irene Ballard McDuffie, 90, of Smith Street, transitioned Sunday, July 2, 2017, at Kindred Transitional Care-Nansemond Pointe. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2017, in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Flat Branch Cemetery, Gatesville, N.C.
