On Aug. 24, 2017, Barbara Spencer Simmerman died at the age of 82. A funeral will be held Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Maranatha Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Clyde Alderman officiating. Burial will follow at Mill Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a visitation Friday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.
