Richard Gilbert Turner, 82, of Truman Road, Suffolk, transitioned Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at Sentara Obici Hospital. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, 2017, at Lakeview Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Daniel E. House Jr. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
