Wanda Denise Bellamy, born June 3, 1958, died Sept. 1, 2017.

She attended East Suffolk High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawyer Judge “Sonny” Bellamy; her mother, Alma Randall Lawerance, and father, George Washington Blount; and her sister, Sarita Blount Towns.

She is survived by her children, Rashaad Mitchell Bellamy and Rashawn David Wantrell Bellamy; siblings, Vanessa M. Blount-Sampson, of Suffolk; Richard Lee Council, of Portsmouth; George Milton Blount (Ethel), of Chesapeake; Kim Mason (Ron), of Suffolk; Tanya Gregory (Sherman), of Maryland; aunts, Vera Randall Sears, of Virginia Beach, and Mary Green (Kitty); uncle, Walter Lee Blount (Pee-Wee); and numerous cousins in Virginia Beach, New York and Florida.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
