Suffolk Treasurer Ron Williams has announced that $1,000 of the funds raised in the 22^nd annual Treasurer’s United Way Golf Tournament have been dispersed by the United Way of South Hampton Roads to the American Red Cross in support of its disaster relief efforts in Texas.

Anyone wishing to support the disaster relief efforts can make a contribution online at https://uwshr.givenow.stratuslive.com/givenow and specify that the contribution be designated to the “Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief Fund.”

Now in its 22^nd year, the tournament has raised approximately $400,000 for the United Way of South Hampton Roads since its inception to support charitable organizations that support the Suffolk community.
