Ida Chapman, of Suffolk, transitioned Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, at Autumn Care, of Portsmouth. There will be a double homegoing celebration at noon with William Mitchell Sr. on Monday, Sept. 17, 2017, at Faith Temple Ministries. Interment will be in Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery.
