Lady Cavs dominate

The Lakeland High School field hockey team had a big game Monday to start off a three-game week.

The Lady Cavs went on the road and defeated Booker T. Washington 13-0. It was the biggest margin of victory so far this season for the Lady Cavs. Eight different players scored goals. Winning big gave the Lady Cavs an opportunity to work on things during the game.

“I think we did well taking advantage of that, taking advantage of working on important parts of our play,” Lady Cav Sydney Beale said. “It was important to still play with purpose, even though we were up as much as we were. We have to remember the small things for us to be successful.”
