Our dear sweet mother, Darlene Bryant Baad, left this life of 81 years to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God lovingly called her home.

She showed unconditional love to her family even as they were struggling with cystic fibrosis, mental retardation, intermittent explosive disorder and suicide. Our mother never gave up loving us. She had a love that did not quit.

Our mother was the wife of the late Robert V. Bryant Jr. and the late Homer Baad. She was the mother of Dianne Winslow, the late Jimmy Bryant, Robert V. Bryant III and David Bryant. Our mother had two grandchildren, Karen Winslow and Jennifer Winslow Browder. She had three great-grandchildren, twins Emma and Wyatt Browder and their brother, Mason Browder. And our mother left many brothers and sisters from the churches of Christ in Suffolk, Esto, Fla., and Montgomery, Ala.

We may have lost a beloved member of our family, but Heaven gained an angel.
