Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Darran Butts, senior, King’s Fork High School football: Butts finished with 171 yards rushing and two touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ win over Nansemond River High School.
• Sarah Rhiel, junior, Nansemond River High School field hockey: Rhiel had four goals for the Warriors in a 7-0 victory over Indian River High School.
• Sarah Stansick, junior, Lakeland High School field hockey: Stansick had three goals and five assists to help the Lady Cavs to a 13-0 victory over Booker T. Washington High School.
