The Rev. Dr. Henry G. Baker departed this earthly life on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017, at the Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk.

A celebration of his life service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017, at the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 6100 Holy Neck Road, Suffolk. Burial will be in the Mt. Sinai Church Cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at the residence, 6400 Leafwood Road, Suffolk.
