Louise W. Knight, 87, slept peacefully away Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017. Louise was the daughter of the late Eddie and Carrie White.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, John Leroy. Left to treasure her memories are her daughter Vera Blakeney (Lynn); her sons, John, Marvin, Glenroy and Jerome (Sheila); eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Archie Lyons (George), Carrie Gerena (George), Beulah Bailey; one aunt, Annie Kindred; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Louise started driving the school bus in 1950 and drove in Suffolk for 61 years.

A celebration of her life service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, at the New Mount Joy Food for Living Ministries on County Street, Suffolk.
