The Suffolk Police Department is investigating a report of shots fired at a residence on Thursday afternoon.

The shots were reported about 1:49 p.m. in the 800 block of Gittings Street, city spokeswoman Diana Klink stated in an email on Friday.

There were no injuries reported, Klink wrote. She could not say if any suspects were located or arrests made, and the incident is still under investigation.
