Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Gerard Stringer, senior, Nansemond River High School football: Stringer had 187 yards rushing and added two touchdowns in the Warriors’ 35-21 regional semifinal win over Indian River High School.
• Sam Dunn, senior, King’s Fork High School football: Dunn had two receiving touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ regional semifinal win over Smithfield High School.
• Deondre Little, senior, Lakeland High School: Little caught a 96-yard touchdown pass in the Cavs’ playoff loss to York High School.
