Clifton E. “Cliff” Kelley, of Richmond, a native of Suffolk and son of the late W. Ralph and Thelma Copeland Kelley, died Nov. 28, 2017.

Cliff, also a longtime resident of New York City, leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Joi Kelley Thompson, of Denver, Colo., and Robin E. Kelley, of Lyndhurst, N.J.; son, Todd Clifton Kelley, of New York City; five grandchildren, Sean, Jazmine, Davlyn, Tyson and Brysen; sister, Vicky Kelley James (Loyal), of Ahoskie, N.C.; three brothers, Alvin T. Kelley Sr., of Richmond; Gerald O. Kelley (Irene), of Columbia, S.C., and Ronald M. Kelley Sr. (Gail), of Richmond; one aunt, Jean Copeland Cobb, of Suffolk; one uncle, Marvin Copeland (Jessie Mae), of Suffolk; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9, at Carver Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum, 2320 E. Washington St., Suffolk. Arrangements by Scott’s Funeral Home, 115 E.
