Deep Creek bests Lakeland

Lakeland High School boys’ basketball team took another close loss at home Tuesday night against Deep Creek High School.

The Hornets defeated the Cavs 71-65. It was the second close loss for the Cavs this season.

It is still very early in the season, but Cavs coach Clint Wright believes his team is getting better and getting close to getting over the hump.

Freshman Quentin Livingston led the Cavs with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Lakeland will take on Grassfield High School on the road at 7 p.m. Friday.
