Autrey’s career high helps Lady Warriors

Senior Briana Autrey scored 35 points to help the Lady Warriors to their first win of the season.

The Nansemond River High School girls’ basketball team is 1-2 after grabbing a 66-48 win over Western Branch High School Friday night. Autrey had a career night, pouring in 35 points to go along with seven assists and five steals. Taylor Paquette added 10 points for the Lady Warriors.

The Lady Warriors will go back on the road to face Oscar Smith High School at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
