A man was injured during an early-morning shooting Saturday.

The shooting was reported at 2:34 a.m. in the 600 block of Kinsey Lane, according to a city press release. The man was taken by a relative to an area hospital prior to officers arriving on scene.

His injuries are not considered life-threatening, according to the release.

The incident remains under investigation, and no further information is being released at this time, the press release stated.
