Beatrice A. Norris, 78, went to be with the Lord on Jan 9, 2018. She was a daughter of Katie and William B. Glessner. She was predeceased by a brother and her sister.

Bee is survived by her daughter, Melonie Reynolds, of Wytheville; son, William Norris, of Suffolk; and granddaughter, Sarah Reynolds, of Suffolk.

Bee was the director of Meals on Wheels for 14 years and retired in 2001. Prior to working for Meals on Wheels, she was a correspondent for the Suffolk News-Herald and a disk jockey for WLPM. She was an avid photographer, taking pictures for the Suffolk News-Herald and local high school yearbooks.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday Jan. 16, 2018, at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home, 305 N. Eighth St., Rocky Ford, CO 81067, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, 27980 Co Rd 20, Rocky Ford, CO 81067. The family is being served in Suffolk by R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory.
