Shelia Ann White, 57, of Fuller Street, transitioned Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018, at Sentara Obici Hospital. She is the daughter of the late Mary Ann Spruill White and Leroy White. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Corey Lashay White.

Shelia is a graduate from John F. Kennedy High School class of 1979. She has been employed with Sentara Obici Hospital for more than 38 years as an administrative clerk in the Food Services Department.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Jaylen Lorale Bradshaw (Lacresha) and Corey “Lil C” White, both of Suffolk; sisters, Linda White and Tracy Arleen White, both of Suffolk; brother, Frederick White (Nancy), of Suffolk; aunts, Betty Goodman, Mary Alice Wilkins, Beulah-Mae Johnson and Virginia Ralph, all of Suffolk; uncle, William Wilkins, of Suffolk; nieces, Ebony Powell (Breon), Tempest White and Chasity White, all of Suffolk; three great-nieces; 12 great-nephews; one great-great-nephew; children from work, Luther Stagg, Jawonda Worthington and Timiah Chapman, all of Suffolk.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at New Paul’s Temple, 720 Hosier Road, Suffolk. She will be laid to rest in Langston Family Cemetery.
