Jo Ann Marushia Blevins, 75, passed away April 23, 2018. She was born in Welch, W.Va., the daughter of the late Michael L. and Winnie G. Marushia. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Estle Ray Blevins Jr.; her son, Michael Ray Blevins; and brothers, Joe, Jack and Paul Marushia. Jo Ann retired as the director of religious education from St. Mary of the Presentation Catholic Church, where she was also a member. She was also a member of the Wilroy Ruritan Club.

Jo Ann is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Jo Ann Kittrell, Jessica and Tony Salyers; grandchildren, Summer and Winnie Salyers, Zoey and Skylar Kittrell; and brother, Pat Marushia.

A funeral Mass will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2018, at St. Mary of the Presentation Catholic Church with Father Emmanuel Mensah officiating. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Roselawn Cemetery in Princeton, W.Va.
