Saints baseball tops NCS

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy baseball team improved its record to 11-6 after a 7-5 victory over Norfolk Christian School Tuesday afternoon on the road.
NSA started off with a 4-1 lead after one inning of play. However, momentum shifted to NCS when they put up three runs in the second inning to tie the game up 4-4.
NSA scored two runs in the seventh to separate themselves for the win. Seth Townsend doubled in the seventh inning to help NSA to the win. Zac Morris went 3-3 with a run and three RBIs on the day. Townsend went 2-4 with two runs, an RBI and two doubles.
Nic Psimas and Kieran Conway pitched for NSA, with Conway getting the win. NSA will face Atlantic Shores Christian School on the road at 4:30 p.m. Friday before getting ready for the postseason.
