Police are investigating a shooting that took place Monday afternoon.

The incident in the 200 block of Cedar Street was reported at 12:29 p.m., according to a city press release. An adult male subject was transported to an area hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

The shooting is under investigation, and no further information is available at this time, the release stated.
