The Suffolk-Nansemond Historical Society and Suffolk Art League have extended the deadline and age range for their Summer TideWATER Camp from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 16-20.

The camp will be held at the Phillips-Dawson House, 137 Bank St., and at the Suffolk Art Gallery, 118 Bosley Ave. Camp is available for fifth- through eighth-graders, and registration can be done up through July 15.

Campers will spend time journaling, canoeing on the Chesapeake Bay, visiting the Great Dismal Swamp and exploring the Chippokes Plantation.
