Robin Pittard Burden, 56, passed away July 9, 2018. She was born in Nansemond County, the daughter of Margaret Lillie Turner Pittard and the late Harvie Seldon Pittard. She was predeceased by a brother, Russell Pittard. Robin co-owned Indian Trail Electric. She was a member of Western Branch Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, Robin is survived by her husband of 38 years, Rex Allen Burden; daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Joseph Bass; son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Meghann Burden; grandchildren, Hunter, Avery and Rex; brother and sister-in-law, Mack Pittard II and Shelby Pittard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Western Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Micah Voight officiating. Burial will be private in the church cemetery.
