A Wisconsin man was sentenced last week to the abduction and assault of a Suffolk teenage girl in 2015.

Peter Alan Diehl, 33, will serve 35 years for three felony charges: use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, child abduction and repeated sexual assault of the same child. He was sentenced in Circuit Court in Douglas County, Wis.

That’s on top of a 20-year federal sentence Diehl received in May 2017 on two counts of felony possession of child pornography.

Peter Alan Diehl, 32, met the girl, 14 at the time, through an online chat room and persuaded her to meet him. He picked her up at a parking lot near her North Suffolk home in August 2015 and then took him to his residence in Superior, Wis. The girl was missing for about a month and a half, until she called her mother from Diehl’s phone.
