Sugar Rodgers recently moved to fifth all-time in three-pointers made for the New York Liberty.

The Suffolk native and former King’s Fork High School star hit the milestone on Sunday in her sixth year in the WNBA. She has made more than 230 career threes and is certain to continue to improve on that.

Last season, Rodgers made the WNBA All-Star team for the first time in her career as a representative of the Liberty and has spent five of her six seasons with the team.

She is currently averaging 5.5 points per game for the Liberty and has made 21 threes on the year so far. Her season high has been 16 points, which came against the Phoenix Mercury June 10. She drained five three-pointers during that game.

Rodgers was also selected the WNBA Sixth Woman of the Year award last year as the top reserve in the WNBA.
