Kenneth E. Bullock

Kenneth E. Bullock, 59, was a native of Suffolk. He was born on July 30, 1958, to the late Louis and Betty Bullock.

He was a 1976 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and attended Virginia State University for a year afterward. He resided in Reston for more than 25 years with the love of his life, Grace Smolens. Kenneth had a love of life and of people. His funny joking nature brought a smile to all he encountered. And his love for his family knew no boundaries. He spent a short time as a member of the Virginia National Guard, worked as a bus driver for the Fairfax Connector Bus System for several years, and drove as a courier for American Medical Labs for more than eight years. He was also a part-time employee of Giant Foods.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Shirley E. Alford and Betty R. Bynum; brothers, Joe L. Bullock, David L. Bullock, James A. Bullock and Michael E. Bullock.

He leaves to cherish his memory, Grace Smolens; two brothers, Harvey D. Bullock Sr. (Fannie) and Steven W. Bullock; three sisters, Mabel L. Stills, Gwendolyn Davis (Eugene), Christine B. Mack (Jimmie); and a host of loving nieces, nephews, uncles and friends.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Crocker Funeral Home Inc. followed by interment in Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery, 2064 Nansemond Parkway, Suffolk. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
