Linda Wiggins Eure, 65, of 129 Doughtie Lane, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018 in Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk.

Born in Suffolk on Dec. 23, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Herbert R. “Pete” and Marie Louise Briggs Wiggins.  A retired paralegal, she had been employed with Moore & Saunders Law Firm in Suffolk for over 30 years, and later with Godwin Law Firm in Gatesville for several years.

Surviving are her husband of 16 years, Danny Eure; a daughter, Tracey T. Eure of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two sons, Tony D. Eure and wife, Ashley, of Gatesville, and Cylee A. Hunt of Eure; two brothers, Wayne Wiggins and wife, Debbie, and Keith Wiggins, both of Suffolk; a granddaughter, Trinity D. Eure; two nephews, Wade and Scott; and many other nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Eure Christian Church Cemetery, and will be conducted by the Rev. Wade Bennett.  Friends may join the family Sunday from 5 to 6 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main St., Gatesville, and all other times at the residence.
